Target Practice: Set up targets in the goal—such as cones or small markers—and practice shooting at them from various distances. Focus on accuracy first, and then gradually add power to your shots. The key is to place the ball in the corners of the goal to make it harder for the goalkeeper to save.
Shooting Under Pressure: Practice shooting while under pressure by simulating match conditions. Ask a teammate or coach to pressure you or block your path as you prepare to shoot. This will help you get used to making quick decisions and finishing under pressure, just like in a real match.
Shooting with Both Feet: Most soccer players are dominant with one foot, but being able to shoot effectively with both feet can significantly increase your scoring opportunities. Make sure to practice shooting with your weaker foot regularly, whether it’s from a stationary ball or while dribbling.
